McCrea condemns mindless vandalism at Cookstown Primary School

DUP Mid Ulster MLA and Policing Board Member, Ian McCrea has condemned those responsible for the vandalism at Cookstown Primary School in the early hours of Monday morning.

Mr McCrea said:

“I totally condemn those mindless thugs who vandalised security lights and cameras at Cookstown Primary in the early hours of Monday morning.

Thankfully the perpetrators did not gain entry to the school, but none the less I find it hard to understand why anyone would set out to damage school property, especially the lights and cameras which are in place to keep the children safe. I would fully encourage anyone with information to report the same immediately to the police in order to bring those responsible to justice.”
